Live Bands and Comedians at Rivers Casino Philadelphia
Popular Event Center at Rivers Casino mixes its lineup with live music and comedy.
It kicks off with the Beatles Tribute on March 24. The next day it will host The Ohio Players. The comedy tour “Clocking Out” is coming to Rivers on April 6, and famous R&B artist Stokley that deserved a Grammy nomination, will perform on April 29. Rivers Casino turns to comedy again on April 29 with The Marlon Wayans Comedy Show. The May brings Peabo Bryson, Sal “The Voice” Valentienetti, and the Tower of Power band.

Live! Casino Philadelphia Relies on Multiple DJs for the Party Atmosphere
This spring, Live! Casino Philadelphia has arranged for a series of DJs to start the party at the Center Bar almost every night, beginning at 7 p.m. Additionally, the casino has scheduled a headline comedian and a variety of enjoyable bands for its other entertainment options this season.
Split Decision Band and DJ Freezie will open the season on March 24. DJ Louie Castelli and The Business will headline the party the next day.
Flight Back Home with DJ Aiden Scott will entertain the patrons on March 31 and Live! In addition, the casino has Sensational Soul Cruisers and Rita Rudner scheduled in April.
Premier Boxing Tournament and Memorial Day Party are Premiere Events for Harrah’s Philadelphia
Harrah’s Philadelphia is set to host one of the state’s most significant amateur sports events this spring – the 2023 Golden Gloves Regional Tournament. The competition will take place on Saturday, April 15, at Harrah’s, featuring 20 weight classes.
Participants from the Central and Eastern Divisions will compete against each other, with the winners advancing to the state and national levels, which is an Olympic Qualifying event. The doors will open at 5 p.m., and the first bout will begin at 6 p.m.
Harrah’s will also host one of the most anticipated Memorial Day parties on May 27. You will need a white shirt for the All-White Indoor/Outdoor dance party. Obligatory white clothes are required; no hats, sneakers, hoodies and similar athletic gear are prohibited. You can enter the party if you are at least 21, and it kicks off at 9 p.m.
Parx Casino’s Xcite Center Hosts a Flurry of Big Names
Music performances and comedians headline the Parx Casino entertainment schedule for the spring.
In March, you can see Nick Offerman, Andony Rodia, Ryan Adams and Brian McKnight. Parx has plenty of performers in April, with Air Supply, Chase Rice, Jay Mohr and Darrell Hammonds, Parmalee, Clint Back, Ruben Studdard, and Clay Aiken performing on the stage.
