Rivers Philadelphia To Host $200,000 Mega Rush

Rivers Philadelphia will host a Mega Rush $200,000 multi-day poker room event this December. The event will start on Wednesday, Dec. 7, and continue until Sunday, Dec. 11.

The Rivers Philadelphia event is a $560 buy-in tournament with four unique starting flights – but all flights will combine to play together on the last event day. It is important to note that such gambling tournaments also happen in the online casino Philadelphia PA.

Poker online series available in PA

BetMGM Poker PA

There haven’t been any announcements regarding the online series for BetMGM Poker PA in December. However, The Return live series with online qualifiers will take place this January at the Borgata.

Online qualifiers are available for the entire December, so the big winners can visit the Main Event on Jan. 4. $5,300 event seat, four nights in the luxurious Borgata hotel and $200 in cash are included in the prize package.

Director of Poker at BetMGM, Luke Staudenmaier, comments that the company understands the popularity of tournaments at Borgata, so they decided to bring The Return online qualifiers as the result of collaboration with the team. He also stated:

“In the upcoming months, we look forward to offering online poker players various ways to qualify for this momentous event which will kick off 2023 with a bang!”

Players will be able to register at PA casino apps or online starting in December and purchase the pickets for the Main Event during the entire month online. Live in-person registration at the Borgata will become available from Jan. 2.

We’re expecting that there will be more online series to be announced, including a tournament lineup from PokerStars PA, so be on the lookout.

WSOP Pennsylvania

PA players will also be offered some online action this month, as the WSOP online circuit series runs during Dec. 7-18.

The Main Event is planned on Dec. 18, with the $525 buy-in and $50,000 guarantee.
