New Venue With Restaurant and Sports Bar

Parx Casino will take the space of the former Lowe’s home store near Interstate 81. Players will have 500 slot machines, 48 electronic tables, and sports betting kiosks. This is a huge number but PA online casino can offer even more gambling that you can play on your phone or tablet. The casino venue will also host a restaurant and sports bar on its 73,000 square foot.

The new casino was enabled by the state legislature and approved in 2017. The legislative framework made the mini-casino concept possible, along with sports betting. In addition, Pennsylvania legalized online gambling with the same regulation. Mini-casinos’ idea is to draw people from smaller towns so they don’t have to drive across the state to metropolitan areas. Big cities already have significant brand original casinos that have more amenities.

Bigger Parx Casino is located in Bucks County and is the top earner among all Pennsylvania casinos. It has over 3000 slot machines. The casino is some 150 miles from Shippensburg. The parent company Greenwood Gaming had an $8.1 million bid to get rights for mini-casino development at a PGCB auction. The project got the green light and will see its first customers on January 26, with a big opening day on February 3.
